Experience the Opulence of Maharajas’ Express through Its 2 New South India Monsoon Special Itineraries Designed Focusing on Domestic Tourists

The Maharajas’ Express – an analogue of luxury travel in India – is all set to add new chapters of exciting train traveling. In their yet another expansion, Maharajas’ Express announced to roll out two monsoon special itineraries, named as ‘Southern Sojourn – Monsoon Special’ and ‘Southern Jewels – Monsoon Special ‘ which shall cover the prominent tourists attractions of West and South India.

These single-trip (8 days / 7 nights) itineraries are especially formulated, which would provide them to cherish South scenic beauty and to witness alluring sceneries like – the mighty sea-waves splashing over the walls, fog embracing the mountain tops, several UNESCO World Heritage Sites and so forth, while enjoying sumptuous cuisines on-board the super-luxury Maharajas’ Express for their life’s ever lasting memories.

Although the regular tour on these circuits will be open in September 2017, the monsoon special itineraries shall run during the monsoon period of June-July this year. In a bid to lure International & domestic travelers, the Maharajas’ Express have planned to specially offer these tours. Domestic travelers, on the booking of first adult on twin sharing at full fare, the second adult sharing the same cabin shall be on Complementary Basis. Additionally, a guest booking a Deluxe Cabin will have an opportunity to upgrade to a Junior Suite by paying extra amount of just 50% of the difference between the tariffs of two accommodations.

Moreover, the World’s Leading Luxury Train has first time introduced Part Journey in the Monsoon Special itineraries which will facilitate travelers to avail a part of the total journey on a fixed price of USD 500/ Rs. 33,250 per day per guest on twin sharing basis. While on single occupancy basis the charges would be USD 800/Rs. 53,200 per day (Exclusive Taxes). The maximum duration you can stay with Maharajas’ Express under Part Journey is 3 days / 2 nights.

The Southern Sojourn – Monsoon Special

The Southern Sojourn – Monsoon Special is one of the two special itineraries added to the Maharajas’ Express which will be kicked-off on 24 June’ 2017 (Saturday) from Mumbai. Spanning over the duration of 8 days and 7 nights and covering Goa, Hampi, Mysore, Cochin and Alleppey, the tour will be disembarked at Trivandrum but not before taking the guests on princely voyage across some of the most magnificent tourist destinations of South India. This meticulously designed tour shall provide guests an opportunity to explore fascinating region of Goa and Konkon, magnificent Portuguese architecture of Goa, the ruins of Hampi, Chinese fishing nets in Cochin, boating in the backwaters of Kumarakom, umpteen UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the rich cultural heritage of Mysuru that form the highlights of this imperial trail journey.

The Southern Jewels – Monsoon Special

The second special itinerary added this year is the Southern Jewels – Monsoon Special which shall begin its journey from Trivandrum on 01 July’2017 (Saturday) and terminate at Mumbai covering Chettinad, Mahabalipuram, Mysore, Hampi and Goa. During this thoughtfully crafted itinerary that lasts for 8 days and 7 nights, you shall explore the alluring lands of South India, several magnificent monuments of historic importance and palaces, whilst getting closer to the ages-old tradition and rich cultural heritage of the region.
